Nocturnal Ember
Nocturnal Ember is a brief arcade game created in just two days for a Game Jam hosted by "Uni Ulm" and came out being the winner of this competition. The theme of the Game Jam was "It never ends".
In the game, you control a firefly making its way home, but as darkness envelops you, your light diminishes steadily.
Who I am

Hello! I'm a game sound designer
who is currently studying Game Production
and Management in Germany. Since I was a child
I was surrounded by video games and music. Those
two things became my fascination very quickly and I
began to produce music for video game scenes in my
freetime at a young age. A huge part of a video game
is its atmosphere. Sounds and music fall into that
category. That's why I'm dedicated to invest all my time
and ressources into getting the most out of a
game's potential.
My skills
Composing
An important task as a composer is to find out how to bring the game's story to life.
Music has to go hand in hand with art and gameplay to really elevate the player's immersion.

Sound Design
Asset creation begins with the understanding of the game's context and figuring out a plan to complement it. After that I gather and record the sounds needed and edit them to round up the process.

Technical Sound Design
As a technical sound designer I find great joy in utilizing middleware like FMOD in order to integrate dynamic and adaptive audio into the game's enginge such as Godot, Unity or Unreal.
Trailers & Cinematics
In order to enhance the storytelling and emotional impact of the trailer or cinematic I create high quality ambience, sound FX, and music which ensure that the audience will be captivated and intruiged to play the game.

Audio Recording
I ​utilize high quality equipment to ensure that the game benefits from unique, clear and polished foley and voice recordings that can be seamlessly integrated into the production.

Mix & Master
At last but certainly not least, I make sure every sound finds its right place in the audio spectrum of the game's soundtrack in the mixing and mastering process ensuring a high quality audio experience.

Requirements:
- Produce epic soundtracks and suiting SFX that support the game's atmosphere, setting and lore
- Create dynamic sound system that works well with the game's mechanics
- Implement SFX using Unreal's Metasound-System
